What data about you do we process? And for what purposes?

We process the data you have sent us in connection with your application in order to assess your suitability for the position (or other open positions in our company, if applicable) and to carry out the application process.

On what legal basis is this based?

The legal basis for processing your personal data in this application process is primarily Section 26 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) as amended and in force from May 25, 2018. According to this provision, the processing of data necessary for the decision on establishing an employment relationship is permitted.

Should the data be required for legal proceedings after the application process has concluded, data processing may take place based on the requirements of Article 6 GDPR, in particular for the purposes of pursuing legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our interest in this case lies in asserting or defending against legal claims.

How long will the data be stored?

Data from applicants will be deleted after 6 months in the event of a rejection.

If you have consented to the further storage of your personal data, we will add your data to our applicant pool. The data will be deleted from the applicant pool after two years.

If you are offered a position as part of the application process, the data from the applicant data system will be transferred to our personnel information system.

To which recipients will the data be passed on.

Your application data will be reviewed by the HR department upon receipt of your application. Suitable applications will then be forwarded internally to the department heads responsible for the respective open position. The further process will then be coordinated. Within the company, only those individuals who require access to your data for the proper execution of our application process will have access to it.

Where is the data processed?

The data is processed exclusively in data centers located in the Federal Republic of Germany.
